We started on Saturday early morning we headed to Nasik. At Nasik after having brunch we headed towards Tryambakeshwar. On route to Tryambakeshwar one has to cross the Anjaneri fort.
Steps to heaven |
Anjaneri Fort is also famous as pilgrim place. It is Birth place of God Hanuman. We started climbing the fort. After some inclination there are series of steps which takes one at top. These seemed like steps to heaven. It was too hot when we started. It was very difficult to climb up. But after reaching top it was very nice view. We had to rush back as next day we had to go for Pheri.

After reaching Tryambakeshwar we had dinner. Thanks to Kanade sir he has already done the necessary arrangements. As it was too hot during day the trekking was difficult. With this it might be difficult to complete the Pheri. The two options that came were either we climb the Brahmagiri or complete the Pheri.

After majority it was decided that we will go for Pheri (Brahmagiri Parikrama). We started early morning from Tryambakeshwar temple. Initially the weather was good and everyone was going together. The scene was very nice. When we reached back side of Brahmagiri hill, it started becoming hot. So we few people decided to finish as early as possible.
The last days experience was with us so we increased our speed. There was no problem of one missing road so everyone started as per convenience. Even if we wanted to wait for others to catch up there was no shelter on the route. So continued and completed the Pheri.
It was really a nice experience. One should experience it.
